DropJib does not replace your accounting system. It finishes the job.
Your books stay where they are. Your close does not change. DropJib picks up at the moment the run finishes printing — the moment that used to mean somebody walks to the printer.
Your accounting system
- The general ledger and the joint account
- Cost allocation and working interest decimals
- Revenue, deductions, severance tax, and suspense
- Division orders and 1099 reporting
- The monthly close
DropJib
- Bursting the run into per-owner statements
- Cover sheets, branding, and remittance instructions
- Email and owner portal delivery
- Electronic delivery consent and paper fallback
- Payment on joint interest bills
- The delivery record, per owner, per period
Nothing on the left changes. There is no migration, no data model to reconcile, and no second place for a decimal to be wrong. DropJib never edits a number your system produced — it delivers it and records that it was delivered.
Not on the list?
The list is not the requirement. If your system can print a statement run, DropJib can take it. Send us a sample run and we will tell you straight whether it works before you commit to anything.
The PDF run
The multi-hundred-page statement run your system prints today, dropped in whole.
The print stream
The spool file your system sends to the printer, captured before it ever becomes paper.
A watched folder
Export to a folder on a schedule and DropJib picks it up without anyone touching it.
An owner master export
A CSV or extract of owner records, so names, decimals, and addresses stay matched run to run.
01Does DropJib replace my oil and gas accounting software?
No. DropJib sits downstream of your accounting system. Your general ledger, your allocations, your decimals, and your close stay exactly where they are. DropJib picks up at the point where the statement run finishes printing and handles everything from there — bursting, branding, delivery, payment, and the delivery record.
02What does DropJib integrate with?
DropJib is built to sit downstream of the systems operators actually run for JIB and revenue accounting, including PakEnergy (WolfePak), Quorum, Enertia, OGsys, Petrofly, SherWare, Avatar Systems, P2/BOLO, QuickBooks, and Excel. It does not require an API into your books. It consumes the printed statement run — the PDF or the print stream — which means the system you use matters far less than most integrations do. If your system can print a statement run, DropJib can take it.
03Can DropJib run on our own servers?
Yes. DropJib is available as a managed cloud service or installed onsite inside your own network. The workflow is identical either way; the difference is where the statements and owner data physically live.
04Does DropJib calculate suspense, decimals, or 1099s?
No. Those are your accounting system's job and DropJib does not second-guess them. Suspense determinations, division-order decimals, severance tax, and 1099 reporting are calculated upstream. DropJib delivers what your system produces and keeps the record of that delivery.
Send the run, not a requirements document.
The fastest way to know whether DropJib works with your system is to hand it one real run. That is a same-week answer, not a discovery project.
Drop. Jib. Done.
